MDeC eyes young technology entrepreneurs

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 3 – The Multimedia Development Corp (MDeC) will focus on young technology entrepreneurs in the country to help them expand their operations into regional and international levels.

Its economic dimensions programme director, Bill Chin, said MDeC would continue to help entrepreneurs showcase their innovations.

“The government’s efforts to help technology entrepreneurs in the future will be geared towards helping them promote innovations or services in the regional and international markets,” he said at a forum, g/Malaysia, organised by Google Malaysia here today.

Other than Chin, the other panellists were Bikesh Lakhmichand (chief executive officer of ITrain Sdn Bhd), Reza Razali (founder of Terato Tech) and Tham Keng Yew (chief executive officer of Social Walk). – Bernama
