KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Maxis Bhd today launched its Built for
SME Solution for the logistics and transportation industry. Head of Maxis Business Services Fitri Abdullah said the application,
the first of its kind in the country, comprises Maxis' managed
machine-to-machine, logistics and warehouse management system and fixed
line saver with Unity Hotline.

These three solutions are designed to provide logistics SMEs with
end-to-end solutions from mobile to applications and software under one
bundled offering, to help them run their business efficiently and
cost-effectively.
"The SIM card which is installed in the truck would enable our
customers to track its movement in real time, by logging into Maxis'
machine-to-machine solution portal," he told reporters after the launch
here Tuesday.
He said the system will help to calculate the fuel used from point A to
point B, and a message will be sent if a vehicle is stopped or has a
technical glitch.
