MARANG, Nov 6 (Bernama) -- Mara has targeted 500 millionaires from among bumiputra entrepreneurs by 2020. Mara deputy director-general (entrepreneurs) Datuk Mohd Rosdi Ismail
said today, the agency had provided numerous programmes to increase the
number of bumiputra millionaires.

"Until now, 157 millionaires have emerged from Mara programmes and we
hope the number will increase from time to time," he told reporters
after a carnival and an exhibition of entrepreneurs' product in the
district.
According to Mohd Rosdi, a millionaire as defined by Mara, referred to those who earned not less than RM2 million in a year.
He said, between January and September this year, Mara had given out RM475 million in loans to 5,375 entrepreneurs nationwide.
