The company's owner, Bunyamin Kamaruddin, said for the purpose, Warisan
Nik Sah was embarking on a robust expansion plan, which would include
the establishment of a new entity as well as a manufacturing plant.
"We currently operate through two factories for production and
marketing. The third factory will enable us to execute our expansion
plan smoothly," Bunyamin told Bernama, adding that all the factories
were based in Kelantan.
He added Warisan Nik Sah had aimed to gain attention from potential
stockists, customers and industry, at large, through the recent Malaysia
Agriculture, Horticulture & Agro Tourism (MAHA) International
Exposition 2012.
He also said Warisan Nik Sah, a well-known household brand in Kelantan
since its inception in 1957, in the past had been supplying raw spices
to several leading spice retailers in Malaysia.
"This time around, we want to introduce our own brand. Our name will be Nik Sah, which is as punchy as Adabi.
"This recipe is from my ancestors and we will make sure the taste and
experience will not be changed even after it is commercialised
nationwide."
Nik Sah manufactures high quality turmeric powder, chili powder, fish
and chicken curry powder, kurma powder, instant fish and chicken curry
paste.
Bunyamin also claimed that the ingredients used for the production of
Nik Sah spices would help with "weight-loss and also had anti-cancerous
properties, and could improve digestion."
