Committee Chairman Roslee Daud said there were some who were very
independent and developed their business without any government
assistance.
"The rest are inactive after registering their business with the
Companies Commission of Malaysia. We hope they will make a come back to
active business soon.
"The government is providing a lot of assistance like for instance the
Terengganu Entrepreneur Development Foundation which is focused on
assisting 30 entrepreneurs market their products overseas via the "Groom
Big" programme," he told Bernama Monday.
Roslee said new and young entrepreneurs in the state would be assisted
and guided by consultants via various workshops and courses.
"All they have to do is get in touch with agencies that conduct such workshops and courses and sign up for them.
"They can obtain assistance in the form of capital and advice," he added.
