PETALING JAYA, July 2 (Bernama) -- Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd, an agency under
the Ministry of Finance, will rope in key partners within the next two
years to help sustain the Junior World Entrepreneurship Forum (JWEF)
Malaysia, its Chief Executive Officer Nazrin Hassan said.

"We want Malaysia to be the next global platform for young
entrepreneurs," he said after the launch of the forum in which Cradle is
partnering Inti International University and Colleges (INTI).
Created as an extension of the World Entrepreneurship Forum, launched
back in 2008 by Emylon Business School and KPMG, JWEF is a global
community of students and young entrepreneurs.
Cradle and Inti both aim to spread the entrepreneurial spirit in all
fields of society and create a platform for students and young people to
meet with entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs and academics to share
their success stories.
Nazrin said young Malaysians are as talented as young people in
neighbouring countries, and the right time to mould them into
entrepreneurs is when they are between 18 and 30, when they are still at
universities or colleges.
"They will not have inferiority complexes any more and will be just as
good as anyone if not better," he said, adding that entrepreneurship can
solve the problem of unemployed graduates in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, Inti CEO Amit Sevak said from January next year, Inti students will have to take an entrepreneurship course.
"We believe that at the end of their studies, students will have
exposure to entrepreneurial skills, besides being knowledgeable in their
own field," he said.
He also announced the launch on July 9 of Inti's new campus in Kuala
Lumpur with a new student intake next month. Offering business-related
programmes, it can accommodate 2,000 students.
