KUCHING, July 2 (Bernama) -- Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib
Mahmud will deliver a keynote address and officially launch a one-day
Tanjung Manis Halal Hub seminar at Mitsubishi Corporation in Tokyo,
Japan tommorow.
According to a statement issued by Sarawak Information Department
Monday, Taib and members of the delegation will also visit the
Mitsubishi Corporation Museum, Sony Showroom "Square" and SME University
as well as having a lunch meeting with Hitachi Limited.
Others who will also speak at the seminar will be former chairman and
senior advisor to the Board of Mitsubishi Corporation Misako Sasaki and
Japan Malaysia Association chief director Takakazu Ogawa.
After the launching ceremony, there will be panel presentation with the
panel members comprising Malaysian Investment Development Authority
Tokyo director Mohd Hashim Abdul Ghani, Chief Minister's Department
State Planning Unit director Datuk Ismawi Ismuni and Chief Minister's
Department Halal Hub Unit director Samat Junai.
Ismuni will talk on Investment and Business Opportunity in Sarawak
Corridor of Renewable Energy (SCORE) while Samat will speak on
Investment and Business Opportunities in Tanjung Manis Halal Hub.
