The skills and knowledge accumulated through the learning process can be used to improve the 1Azam recipients' livelihood and also to elevate themselves out of poverty.

Kameri urged the participants to understand the knowledge gained from the learning to help create a sustainable income for their livelihood and future.

The participants were told to take advantage of the resources and opportunities given by the government to improve their living standards and in turn contribute back to the community, especially in the villages.

Following the provision of assistance, Kameri informed the recipients that an assessment of the assistance would be conducted in three month's time to monitor the participants' progress.
Further assistance will also be provided if the situation arises.

Forty-five participants from eight districts including Lundu, Asajaya, Betong and Sri Aman, completed the six-day sewing programme.
