KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 (Bernama) -- Kelantan-based sauce manufacturer, MH
Mohd Industries Sdn Bhd, has ventured into manufacturing a new coffee
product and is hopeful the diversification will help boost the company's
revenue by at least 20 per cent this year to more than RM2.4 million.

Its Founder and Chief Executive Officer Muhamad Yussof said he was
optimistic that his newly formulated three-in-one "tunjuk langit" and
gano coffee mixture marketed under the brand name of "MH Mohd" would
form a new revenue stream for the company.
"We have long-term plans to market our coffee at supermarkets and
hypermarkets. This, however, is indeed challenging as retailers request
successful track records of the product.
"We believe we can achieve our long-term goal by working harder," he said in a statement.
Muhamad said MH Mohd coffee is currently distributed through a
distributor in Kelantan and the company is also taking orders through
mail and delivery via courier services.
MH Mohd coffee is contract manufactured by Technology Park Malaysia (TPM) Biotech Sdn Bhd at its biotech centre in Raub.
Prior to engaging the services of TPM Biotech last year, the company had
invested more than RM10,000 in product research and development,
marketing surveys and was personally involved in the testing of the
product.
Last year, MH Mohd recorded 10 to 20 per cent annual growth and generated about RM2 million sales.
This year it hopes to maintain the growth rate and aims to improve existing sauce products.
