KUCHING, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd will soon open
two Mydin hyperstores, one each at The Kuching Isthmus and Bandar
Samariang here, as part of its expansion into East Malaysia.

The Malaysian hyperstore chain will sign an agreement with property
developers, CMS Land Sdn Bhd and Projek Bandar Samariang Sdn Bhd, on
Monday to seal the deal.
CMS Property Development, a subsidiary of Cahya Mata Sarawak Bhd, said
in a statement that state Tourism and Housing Minister Datuk Amar Abang
Johari Tun Abang Openg would witness the signing ceremony between the
three parties.
Mydin is notable for bringing local and overseas products at affordable
prices to a large segment of the Malaysian population with local
consumers expecting a wider choice ranging from groceries, hardware
products, electrical appliances, stationery, textiles and apparel under
one roof.
