INTERESTED in penetrating markets in northern Africa and Europe with your halal products?
WorldClass Trade and Industries is inviting local entrepreneurs dealing in halal food and non-food products to join the International Halal Expo 2012 in Morocco in September.
The inaugural expo will be held at the Ministere des Affaires Islamiques Habous and Des Administrative et Cultural Centre in Meknes on September 13-15. It is supported by Meknes Investment Centre and other government agencies.
WorldClass Trade is a Bumiputera-owned company offering professional consulting services and marketing of OEM (original equipment manufacturers) products as well as being a representative of organisers of international halal expositions.
"Through the expo, Malaysian entrepreneurs will be able to promote and market their halal products and services in the country with some 31 million people, who are mostly Muslims.
"Morocco also acts as a door to certain European countries," Nora Aida said.
She said products that are in high demand in the country include coffee, tea, frozen foods like pizza, lasagna and burgers, as well as toiletries and beauty products.
