SINGAPORE, April 11 (Bernama) -- Malaysian entrepreneurs would be among
many esteemed speakers and panelists at a two-day regional conference to
be organised by the Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry
(SMCCI) on May 7.

Themed "Internationalisation of SMEs: Strategies and Opportunities", the
conference aimed to capture the knowledge and insights behind leading
brands to allow small-and-medium enterprises (SMEs) harness the latest
tools for doing business in Asia and beyond.
"The line-up includes successful Malaysian and Indonesian entrepreneurs as well as Singaporeans doing well overseas.
"We want our local businessmen to learn the best practices from the
esteemed speakers and panelists," said SMCCI President Abdul Rohim Sarip
in a statement.
The conference, which would be preceded by factory visits, would also
feature industry pavilions to allow companies to showcase their
businesses to local and regional SMEs, as well as network within and
across industries.
The participating industries include information technology, banking,
retail, food and beverage, media, property, beauty & wellness and,
travel and tourism.
The conference is expected to attract 500 business leaders, new and upcoming SMEs and entrepreneurs.
