In a statement today, myNEF said 44 companies participated in the
workshop which aimed to brief them about the possible development and
implementation of successful M&A strategies.
"The programme is part of myNEF Pemangkin Usahawan (PUsh) initiative
which was launched by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak last year,"
it said.
myNEF said among topics discussed during the workshop were potential
sectors with regards to entrepreneurship and innovation, rationale of
pursuing acquisitions and techniques used in consummating acquisitions
and the regulatory framework required.
"As an industry facilitator, myNEF helps companies determine the
rationale, select acquisition targets, value them and evaluate the
long-term potential of the partnership," it said.
