KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 15 (Bernama) -- The Malay Chamber of Commerce Malaysia
(DPMM) wants the government to set aside 30 per cent of the projects in
Nusajaya to the Malays.

Its president, Datuk Syed Ali Alattas, said a roundtable, comprising
representatives from the chamber and government agencies and Johor
leaders was needed to discuss the issue.
"A summary of the study by the chamber's Research and Development
Foundation and the National Economic Action Council found that living
standard of the Malays in Johor has fallen and the economic gap has
widened," he told a media briefing here today.
