Azran Deraman, Director, Ministry of International Trade and Industry
(MITI), said the 10 enterprises are members of Groom Big Cooperative
which would take part in the three-day expo beginning this Friday.
"This is the best platform for the SMEs to market their products as
products from Kelantan SMEs especially halal food have their own
strength and are in demand in the market in southern Thailand," he said
to reporters after a meeting with the enterprises that are participating
in the expo, here Wednesday.
He said the ministry would capitalise on that opportunity to market
products particularly to the Muslim community who favours halal products
from Malaysia.
