SHAH ALAM, March 31 (Bernama) -- Local entrepreneurs must be focused, bold and not easily give up in managing their business, says a motivational expert. Dr Azizan Osman said entrepreneurs must have these qualities if they want to be successful corporate citizens in this country.

"They must have a steely fighting spirit to succeed in the business they have started. As business people, we should not give up easily," said Azizan, who is also the founder of Richworks Human Capital Development (M) Sdn Bhd, when giving a self-motivation talk to some 3,000 participants of the 1Malaysia Industrial Entrepreneurs' Clinic here Sunday.
Azizan said entrepreneurs must also have their own mentors as "referral agents" to seek advice to develop their business.
"The mentors can also help them solve weaknesses in their business dealings.
"So, follow the footsteps of successful businessmen and make them your role model to succeed in business," he said.
Azizan said entrepreneurs must also set their goals in the businesses they were engaged in so that they would have a set target to achieve.
